Lower Elementary Program (6-9 years old)
About Lower Elementary Program

Our Lower Elementary Program is specially designed to meet the natural pace and interests of children between ages 6-9 years old. Naturally, children at this age are:

  • Physically and emotionally stable
  • Starting to develop the ability for abstract thinking
  • Beginning to explore their reasoning and logic
  • Eager to become very social, being with friends, and working out issues of friendship (peer culture starts to appear)
  • Sensitive to moral sense

With this in mind, all of our Lower Elementary activities are developed to offer academic experience and to foster their social skills and development that are so vital to student age 6-9 years old. In GMS, all activities are also integrated with time-management exercise to sharpen children’s ability to allocate their time effectively and be responsible. We also actively involve our students in various Environmental Issues example Green-Life and Protect Rainforest campaigns to update and encourage them to give positive contribution to their nature.
